Bachelor's Degree
Undergraduate Admission
Admission to the Unicollege Bachelor's Degree follows the Italian academic calendar, with the principal intake beginning in September. The degree is delivered across Florence, Mantua, and Turin and combines applied languages with professionally oriented academic concentrations.
Admission requires completion of the Unicollege Admission Test, which evaluates language proficiency and general academic preparation. The test may be completed online or at a Unicollege campus during the scheduled admission sessions.
Following admission, successful candidates receive the formal enrollment instructions and deadline from the Admissions Office.
Application Cycle
- Early admission: generally by April
- Final admission: generally by July
- Academic intake: September (and, upon approval, till January)
Applications and preliminary admissions guidance may begin earlier in the year, particularly for international candidates requiring additional documentation, visa preparation, or scholarship consideration.

Master's Degree Programs
Two Graduate Pathways
Unicollege graduate admissions include both the University's Italian Master's Degree in Specialized Translation and Conference Interpreting (LM-94) and selected U.S. graduate degrees offered through international university partnerships.
Italian LM-94 Master's Degree
The LM-94 follows the Italian academic calendar and ordinarily begins in September. Admission is based on prior academic qualifications and the requirements established for the degree. Enrollment is completed through the University's Graduate Admissions process.
International Master's Programs
International graduate programs operate on a more flexible admissions model. Applications are accepted throughout the year, with candidates placed in the next available intake according to the calendar of the relevant partner program. Admission generally includes review of previous academic qualifications, professional experience where relevant, and an admissions interview.
Scholarship consideration may form part of the same admissions process.

Doctoral Programs
Multiple Intakes Throughout the Year
Doctoral programs offered through Unicollege's international university partnerships operate independently from the traditional Italian September admissions cycle.
There are six admission windows each year, approximately one every two months, allowing qualified candidates to begin at different points throughout the year. Candidates are generally advised to apply 35–55 days before the preferred intake.
Admission is based on the candidate's previous academic attainment, professional profile, eligibility for the selected doctorate, and any transferable graduate-level study. The process begins with an academic review and orientation meeting before the formal partner-university application is completed.

Erasmus+ Students
Incoming Semester Mobility
Students from Erasmus+ partner institutions may join Unicollege for a semester or academic mobility period through nomination by their home university.
The home institution remains responsible for selecting and nominating participants under the applicable interinstitutional agreement. Following nomination, students complete the Unicollege application and Learning Agreement process.
Reference Nomination Deadlines · 2026–27
| Semester | Partner nomination |
|---|---|
| Fall 2026 | June 5, 2026 |
| Spring 2027 | October 31, 2026 |
Acceptance documentation is issued following review of the nomination and application. Academic recognition at the home university remains governed by the Learning Agreement and the policies of the sending institution.
Erasmus+ Staff & Faculty
Mobility Throughout the Year
Unicollege also receives faculty, academic staff, teachers, and professional staff through Erasmus+ mobility and institutional partnerships. Unlike semester student mobility, many staff-development and teaching activities can take place throughout the year, depending on the mobility format, academic calendar, and institutional agreement.
Erasmus+ professional-development programs are offered across Unicollege locations, with scheduled activities available every month throughout the year. Teaching visits, staff weeks, job-shadowing activities, institutional meetings, and customized mobility periods may also be coordinated directly between partner institutions.

Faculty-Led & University Programs
Institutional Admissions
Faculty-led and customized university programs follow a separate university-to-university process rather than individual student admission. Programs may be proposed throughout the year and scheduled according to the partner university's academic calendar.
Unicollege and the sending institution jointly establish the academic content, location, duration, faculty model, group size, services, and program budget. Programs may be hosted in Florence, Mantua, Milan, Turin, or across multiple locations. Once the institutional framework is confirmed, participating students complete a simplified enrollment and documentation process coordinated by the two universities.
