Erasmus+ Programs

All Unicollege students have the opportunity to spend a semester at a partner university abroad through the Erasmus+ program, which provides European Union scholarships. During their exchange, students will attend language courses and take exams that will be recognized as part of their academic curriculum.

Additionally, Unicollege students can gain professional experience abroad through the Erasmus Placement program, which allows them to intern at companies, institutions, training centers, and research organizations in one of the Erasmus Program member countries.

Through bilateral agreements between Unicollege and leading non-European universities, students can also spend a semester studying in Asia or Latin America. For example, they may take Chinese-language courses in Taiwan that count towards their academic curriculum or study Spanish in Argentina, expanding their international learning experience.

The Erasmus+ program also facilitates faculty exchanges, welcoming visiting professors from partner universitieswho conduct workshops and in-depth seminars in their native languages on subjects they teach in their home institutions.

Furthermore, students can participate in the Erasmus Buddy program, acting as mentors and guides for international exchange students. This initiative is an excellent opportunity to immerse oneself in diverse cultures, which is one of the core objectives of international exchange programs.

Erasmus+ Study Programme

The Erasmus+ program provides students with the opportunity to spend one or two semesters at one of Unicollege's partner universities in a participating European country, broadening their academic and cultural horizons while gaining valuable international experience.

This exchange program is particularly recommended for students who wish to enhance their academic journey by:

The Erasmus+ study period typically lasts five months, during which students engage in coursework aligned with their academic program. Upon completion, credits earned at the host institution are formally recognized and transferred, replacing equivalent courses in their study plan.

To support students financially, Erasmus+ scholarships are available to help cover expenses related to travel, accommodation, and living costs. These grants are awarded based on both economic and merit rankings established by the Erasmus Office, ensuring that students receive the necessary support to fully immerse themselves in this transformative academic experience.

Students interested in applying for the Erasmus+ mobility program are invited to submit their application – in accordance with the annual application call. Applications must be completed electronically. For more information, please refer to outgoing@unicollegessml.it.

Erasmus+ Traineeship

The Erasmus+ Traineeship Program provides students with the opportunity to undertake a professional internship at a company or institution located in one of the European countries participating in the program. This experience is particularly recommended for students who wish to enhance their academic training by improving linguistic and intercultural skills, developing communication and problem-solving abilities, and acquiring transversal competencies highly valued by future employers.

The internship abroad typically lasts two to three months, after which the academic credits assigned to the internship activities will be recognized and validated within the student's study plan.

Participating students may receive an Erasmus+ scholarship as a contribution towards travel, accommodation, and living expenses. The allocation of scholarships is based on both economic and merit rankings established by the Erasmus Office.

Students can search for internship opportunities by directly contacting companies or institutions of interest, or by applying for available offers on the ErasmusIntern.org portal.

Students interested in applying for Erasmus+ Traineeship mobility are invited to submit their application when the official selection call is published in the university's Student Portal. Applications must be completed electronically. For more information, please contact outgoing@unicollegessml.it.

Exchange Programs, Erasmus Buddy & Visiting Professors

Through bilateral agreements between Unicollege and renowned universities outside of Europe, students can spend a semester studying abroad in one of Unicollege's partner countries.

Every year, Unicollege welcomes exchange students from its European and international partner universities. To help them integrate smoothly into university life, Unicollege promotes a peer tutoring project, selecting Buddies—local students who volunteer to support and guide their international peers during their first weeks of exchange.

Unicollege is delighted to host international faculty members from its partner universities.

Each year, visiting professors offer seminars, open lectures, and specialized workshops, attracting high student engagement and interest.

Professors interested in teaching or co-teaching at Unicollege as part of a visiting faculty program are invited to contact the Unicollege International Office.
