Program Overview
The Unicollege Bachelor's Degree is engineered around a simple yet distinctive academic principle: every student designs an individualized educational pathway by combining two of the defining competencies of today's international professions: advanced multilingual proficiency and specialized disciplinary expertise. Rather than following a predetermined curriculum, students build their degree by selecting two or three foreign languages from a portfolio of ten together with one of six concentrations, creating an academic profile that reflects both their interests and career ambitions.

Students therefore do not simply study languages; they learn to apply them within the context of their chosen profession. A future diplomat may combine Russian and Chinese with International Affairs & Diplomacy, while a future luxury brand manager may study French and Arabic to operate within two of the world's most influential luxury markets. Similarly, a student specializing in Marketing & Communications may combine Spanish and English to develop international campaigns, while another pursuing Cultural Heritage & Tourism Management may pair Japanese and Italian to engage with one of Italy's most significant inbound tourism markets.
This educational philosophy reflects the realities of Italy's international economy. As the home of globally recognized industries, including luxury fashion, design, cultural heritage, tourism, advanced manufacturing, agrifood, and international trade, Italy offers an exceptional environment in which disciplinary knowledge and multilingual communication naturally converge. The degree is therefore designed not only to prepare graduates for employment within Italy's internationally competitive sectors, but also to equip them with an academic profile that is immediately transferable across global labor markets and postgraduate education.
Every academic pathway is further strengthened through experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom. All students complete a mandatory curricular internship with national or international organizations, gaining professional experience directly related to their field of study. At the same time, the curriculum is designed to encourage international mobility through embedded study abroad opportunities, faculty-led programs, exchange semesters, and double degree pathways developed with partner universities across four continents, allowing many students to study in multiple countries and, where applicable, graduate with qualifications from two universities.
The result is a graduate profile that is distinctive by design. Upon completion of the program, Unicollege graduates typically leave the University having developed proficiency in two or three foreign languages, specialized in a professional field, completed meaningful international work experience, and studied within different academic and cultural environments, often earning two degrees in as little as three years or shortly thereafter. They become part of a global alumni community in which 91% of graduates are employed or pursuing further education within six months of graduation, continuing their careers and studies in multinational companies, international organizations, public institutions, and leading universities around the world.
